JSF in the Community
The Dante Benedetti Foundation – Ryan Sittauer, Board Member
The Dante Benedetti Foundation is dedicated to continuing the spirit and legacy of Dante Benedetti. Simply put, helping kids through the game of baseball.
For nearly 40 years Dante was San Francisco's own Mr. Baseball to thousands of boys and young men. His kindness, generosity and occasional firm hand guided many a young boy away from trouble and back onto the road to becoming responsible adults. His legacy is seen today throughout our community as "Dante's boys" have become policeman, doctors, coaches, teachers, and businessmen.
Down Syndrome Association North Bay – Ryan Sittauer, Board Member
The mission of DSANB is to promote self-advocacy, raise awareness, further educational pursuits, and support inclusion of individuals with Down syndrome and their families in the North Bay of California.
Down Syndrome Association North Bay families share a common bond…our children, stories, and experiences. All of us in the group are parents, grandparents, or family members of a child with Down syndrome. We are here to greet new families as babies are born; acting as friends who lend help and offer insight by sharing stories, social gatherings, educational pursuits, and our giant picnic and fundraiser, The Buddy Walk.
We incorporated in March 2012 and are awaiting our official Nonprofit status. In the interim, Early Learning Institute is our Fiscal Sponsor.

Terra Linda High School Athletic Boosters
Chris Owen- Board Member (Vice President)
TLHS Athletic Boosters is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that is dedicated to supporting all of the sports programs at Terra Linda High School. With district funding decreasing and costs for operating athletics increasing each year, our fund-raising efforts are becoming increasingly important to maintaining athletic opportunities for our students.
Over 40% of TL students participate in one of 35 boys or girls athletic teams throughout the year. Through our efforts, we have been able to provide money to aid the purchase of team uniforms and equipment, as well as help fund facility improvements across the full range of sports. All money we collect, less expenses, directly benefits our student athletes.
